No one Fights Alone
Because of you, we’ll be able to stand beside families who feel overwhelmed by a cancer diagnosis and make sure they don’t face this journey alone.
Help Local Families
Join me in supporting real change through offering support to families going through cancer care. Help us build a community where no one fights cancer alone, through the Spierings Cancer Foundation.
Spierings Cancer Foundation provides financial support to local families affected by cancer, enhances medical care for cancer patients in the Fox Cities and funds cancer research in Wisconsin.
Jim and Sue Spierings, from Little Chute, Wisconsin, created the foundation in 2009. After Jim won his battle with throat cancer, they decided to give back to the community who supported him during his battle.
Over the past 16 years, the foundation has raised more than 2.5 MILLION dollars to support its mission of helping people affected by cancer, including over 1000 local families.
As a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner, I have seen firsthand the tangible support the Spierings Cancer Foundation can do for patients. Whether it is gas cards, helping pay for a bill or contributing to cancer research, they have raised millions of dollars that have stayed within our local community and have provided financial support for cancer patients in their greatest time of need.
After losing my own dad to cancer in 2024, I have been on a mission to run forty half marathons by the time I am 40 and will be running the next twelve half marathons to fundraise support and awareness for the Spierings Cancer Foundation.
